Mandarin Orange Jello Salad
Mandarin Orange Jello Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 cans mandarin oranges, 1 small can crushed pineapple, 1 large pkg. orange jell-o, 16 oz. frozen orange juice and 1 small pkg. lemon pie filling (not instant), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Drain oranges and pineapple, saving liquid.
Add enough hot water to liquid to make 2 1/2 cups of liquid.
Heat and dissolve jello in the juice.
Add frozen orange juice, undiluted, and when almost set, add fruit, saving a few orange segments.
Pour into a ring Jell-O mold or a 9 x 12-inch pan.
