Mammy's Tea Cakes
Mammy'S Tea Cakes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. crisco, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. brown sugar, 2 eggs, beaten and 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Combine Crisco and sugars in bowl and mix.
In separate bowl, combine soda, salt and flour and mix together with a spoon.
Add to Crisco, sugar mix and add flavoring and eggs.
With a teaspoon, drop batter on cookie sheet.
Flatten cookies with tines of fork and sprinkle with sugar.
