Mamma's Sugar Cookies
Mamma'S Sugar Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. brown sugar (brown or white sugar may be used), 1 heaping c. shortening (crisco), 1 c. buttermilk, 2 eggs and 3 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Add enough flour to make a soft dough, about 5 cups.
Put flour in bowl.
Add sugar, shortening, eggs, salt and baking powder.
Put soda in milk.
Add to flour, etc.
Mix with hands. Roll and cut out cookies the size you like.
Bake at 350Β° until done.
