Mamaw's Chocolate Pie
Mamaw'S Chocolate Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 heaping c. sugar, 2 egg yolks, 1 1/2 c. milk, 1 tsp. butter and 1/4 c. nestle quik, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
In saucepan, mix sugar, Nestle Quik, 1 1/4 cups milk and 2 egg yolks together.
Blend cornstarch with remaining 1/4 cup milk until smooth, then add to saucepan.
As mixture is heating, add Pet milk.
Cook until mixture begins to thicken, stirring continuously.
Once mixture is thick, spoon in 1 teaspoon butter and mix well.
Immediately pour into baked pie shell and cool 2 hours before serving.
