Mama's Pecan Pie Cake Bars
Mama'S Pecan Pie Cake Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box yellow cake mix, 1/2 c. melted margarine, 4 eggs, 1/2 c. dark brown sugar, packed and 1 1/2 c. white karo syrup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix margarine, cake mix and 1 egg together.
Reserve 2/3 cup of this mixture for topping and pat remainder in 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
Mix brown sugar, Karo syrup and eggs, vanilla, reserved 2/3 cup of cake mixture and chopped nuts. Pour over partially baked cake.
Return to oven at 375°.
Bake until cake tests done.
Cut into small squares.
