Mama's Chocolate Pound Cake

Cream butter, Crisco and sugar.
Sift all dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk and vanilla.
Add eggs, 1 at a time, blending with all other ingredients.
Coat tube pan with shortening.
Use a small amount of flour and cocoa to flour pan.
Pour mixture into prepared tube pan and place in COLD oven.
Turn oven on and let it heat to 325Β°. Cook for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until done.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
