Maine's Million Dollar Fudge
Maine'S Million Dollar Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 1/2 c. sugar, pinch of salt, 2 tbsp. butter, 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can evaporated milk and 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate pieces, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Combine the first 4 ingredients and boil 6 minutes.
Put the semi-sweet chocolate and the sweet chocolate, marshmallow cream and nuts into a large bowl.
Pour the boiling syrup over ingredients in the bowl; beat until chocolate is melted.
Pour into pans; let stand a few hours before cutting.
Store in tin box.
Makes about 5 pounds.
