Macaroni Special
Macaroni Special is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large box macaroni, 1 can mushrooms in juice, 1 lb. rat cheese, no. 2 can small peas and 6 crackers, rolled, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Cook macaroni in salted water.
Cook mushrooms until tender. Grate cheese.
Drain peas.
In a large Pyrex bowl alternate a layer of macaroni, cheese, peas, mushrooms and sprinkle with cracker crumbs.
Dot with butter, salt and pepper, leaving macaroni, cheese and crumbs on top of last layer.
Pour 1 can tomato juice on top, then pour cream and 1 cup tomato juice over all.
Cook slow 4 hours.
