M&M'S Easy Party Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. vegetable shortening, 1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar, 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs and 2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Preheat oven to 375Β°.
Beat together shortening and sugars until light and fluffy.
Blend in eggs and vanilla.
Gradually add combined flour, soda and salt.
Mix well.
Stir in 1/2 cup candies and reserve remaining candies for decorating.
Drop dough by heaping teaspoonfuls onto baking sheets.
Press an additional 3 to 4 candies on top of each cookie.
Bake about 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool slightly on baking sheet, then remove to rack to cool.
