In large bowl, blend shortening, brown sugar and white sugar. Beat in vanilla and eggs.
Add rest of ingredients.
Blend well. Stir in M&M's candy, saving 1/2 cup to put 3 on each cookie.
Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.
