Lynnette'S Applesauce Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 3/4 c. sugar, 1 c. applesauce, 1 egg and 1 tsp. nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix shortening and sugar.
Add applesauce.
Stir in eggs.
Put all dry ingredients in a sifter.
Add to batter slowly.
