Lye Soap
Lye Soap is an easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 pt. water, 1 can lye, 6 lb. bucket and used grease, strained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Mix lye in water.
Be sure to use granite container large enough to leave soap in to harden.
Add melted grease.
Stir carefully.
Let harden.
When it is hard, cut it out in cubes. Grate it up and use as washing powder.
You'll be surprised how white and clean your clothes are.
