Luscious Coconut Cake
Luscious Coconut Cake is an easy dinner. Made with 1 butter cake mix, 1 3/4 c. sugar, 2 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen coconut, thawed, 1 (9 oz.) container whipped topping, thawed and 1 (8 oz.) container sour cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Prepare cake mix according to package directions, making 2 layers.
When completely cool, split both layers.
Combine sugar, sour cream and coconut; blend well and chill.
Reserve one cup sour cream mixture for frosting and spread remainder between layers of cake.
Combine reserved sour cream mixture with Cool Whip.
Blend until smooth.
Spread on top and sides of cake.
Seal cake in an airtight container and refrigerate for 3 days before serving.
