Lucky Seven Rolls
Lucky Seven Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. sugar, 3/4 c. milk, scalded, 3 tbsp. shortening, 1 tsp. salt and 1 cake compressed yeast, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Pour milk over sugar, shortening and salt in a mixing bowl. Cool to lukewarm.
Soften yeast in lukewarm water; add egg and mix well.
Add to milk mixture.
Add about half the flour to yeast mixture and beat thoroughly.
Add remaining flour; mix well. Knead on a lightly floured board until smooth and elastic (about 5 minutes).
Place dough in a greased bowl.
Cover and let rise in a warm place until double about 1 hour.
Shape as desired.
Let rise again.
Bake in a 350Β° oven for 20 minutes.
