Low-Fat Festive Rice
Low-Fat Festive Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans low-sodium chicken broth, 1 c. converted long grain rice, 6 tbsp. molly mcbutter flavor sprinkles, 1 1/2 c. small broccoli florettes and 2/3 c. thin carrot slices, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
In medium nonstick saucepan, bring broth to a boil.
Add rice.
Reduce heat.
Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
Stir in 4 tablespoons butter sprinkles, parsley and vegetables.
Cover. Continue cooking 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes or until broth is absorbed.
Sprinkle with remaining butter sprinkles.
Fluff with fork and serve.
