Low Country Boil
Low Country Boil is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. smoked hillshire pork and beef sausage, 2 to 3 lb. potatoes, 3 to 4 ears corn, 1 to 1 1/2 lb. onion and 1 box crab and shrimp boil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
In a large boiler, combine sausage, potatoes, crab boil and plenty of water.
Boil about 45 minutes.
Add corn and onions; boil until these ingredients are nearly done.
Add shrimp and boil until they are done (about 4 or 5 minutes).
After bringing to a boil again, you may add crab legs, when you add shrimp, if you have them.
