Lovelight Chiffon Layer Cake
Lovelight Chiffon Layer Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 eggs, separated, 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar, 2 1/4 c. flour, 3 tsp. baking powder and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Set out eggs 1 hour before and separate. Grease and flour 8 or 9-inch pans or line with waxed paper.
Beat egg whites until frothy.
Gradually add 1/2 cup sugar.
Beat until stiff and glossy.
In large bowl, put remaining sugar, flour, baking powder and salt.
Pour in oil and half of milk.
Beat for 1 minute.
Add remaining milk, egg yolks and vanilla.
Beat for 1 minute.
Fold beaten egg whites into batter.
Turn into pans.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
Cool in pans for 10 minutes.
Remove and cool on racks.
