Long Island Clam Spread
Long Island Clam Spread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 medium onion, diced, 3 tbsp. butter or margarine, 2 (7 oz.) cans clams, chopped or minced, 15 to 18 crushed ritz crackers and 1 tsp. garlic powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Saute onion in butter or margarine until transparent.
Remove from heat and add the clams, one of the cans drained, the other with its liquid.
