Linda's Apple Pie
Linda'S Apple Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 9-inch unbaked pie crust, thawed to room temperature, 6 c. red delicious apples, peeled and cored, sliced very thin (about 5 to 6 apples), 1 c. sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon and dash of nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
In a large bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and flour. Stir with a fork until well mixed.
Add apples to this mixture a little at a time, tossing well to coat apples.
Spoon filling into pie crust; add chipped butter over top.
Set aside.
