Leo'S Favorite Date Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1 c. shortening, 3 eggs, 3 c. flour and 1 c. chopped pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Up the night before.
Mix in order given then put into a bowl and cover.
In the morning, heat oven to 325° to 350°. Drop teaspoon on greased cookie sheet and bake for 20
25 minutes.
Makes several dozen according to size of cookie dough used.
Keeps well.
