Lentil Patty
Lentil Patty is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. dried lentils, 1/2 c. brown rice, 3 c. water, 1 tbsp. salt and 1 c. whole wheat bread crumbs (slices), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Combine lentils, salt, water and rice; bring to boil.
Lower heat.
Cover, then simmer until tender, about 35 minutes.
Remove; let stand 10 minutes.
Wash with water.
Stir in bread crumbs, wheat germ, onion, celery seed, etc.
Shape into patties; roll in the wheat germ.
Fry slowly in well-oiled pan for 10 minutes. These are delicious.
