Lemon Nut Balls
Lemon Nut Balls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, 2 tsp. finely grated lemon peel and 2 1/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Mix butter, sugar and vanilla.
Add and mix in lemon peel. Stir flour and salt together and blend into butter mixture.
Mix in nuts.
Heat oven to 350Β°.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls and put on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
While warm, roll in 2 cups sifted confectioners sugar which has had 1 1/2 tablespoons of finely grated lemon peel added to it.
Yields 48 cookies.
