Lemon Loaf
Lemon Loaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 3/4 c. flour, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 c. margarine, 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 1/2 tsp. lemon extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cream sugar and margarine.
Add egg; combine vanilla, lemon extract and milk.
Add alternately with dry ingredients.
Bake at 350Β° in greased and floured loaf pan for 30 to 40 minutes or until wooden pick comes out clean.
Let stand 5 to 10 minutes and remove from pan.
As soon as taken from oven and before removing from pan, top with 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons milk, which have been stirred and heated together.
