Lemon Crackers
Lemon Crackers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 1 pt. sweet milk, 1 oz. baking ammonia (not liquid) and 1 1/4 c. lard, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Put ammonia between paper and pulverize, then put in milk and let stand 15 to 20 minutes.
Do not use that which doesn't dissolve.
Add other ingredients and enough flour to roll well. Cut and bake at 300° to 350°.
