Lemon Cake Pie
Lemon Cake Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. butter, 1 c. sugar, juice and rind of 1 large lemon, 1 c. milk and 2 eggs, separated, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cream butter and sugar; add lemon juice and rind and egg yolks and beat well.
Add flour and milk; lastly, fold in the egg whites, beaten stiff.
Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake at 450° for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat.
Bake at 325° until set as custard.
It will require about 45 minutes.
Bottom part is custard, top like cake.
