Lemon Cake Pie
Lemon Cake Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1/4 c. flour, pinch of salt, 2 eggs, separated and 2 lemons (juice) and 2 tbsp. rind, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Combine sugar, flour, salt, butter and egg yolks.
Beat until smooth.
Add lemon juice and rind.
Add milk slowly.
Beat egg whites stiff but not dry.
Fold in.
Bake pie shell 5 minutes. Pour in filling.
Bake 40 minutes or until firm in 350Β° oven.
Pie will have a cake-like topping.
