Lemon Butter Bars
Lemon Butter Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 and 1/3 c. flour, 1 1/4 c. sugar, divided, 1 c. (2 sticks) butter, divided, 2 large lemons and 5 egg yolks, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Lightly coat a 9 inch baking pan with cooking spray.
For the crust, combine the flour and 1/4 c. sugar and blend together.
Add 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter.
Cut into flour-sugar mixture until it is finely mixed and the butter disappears.
This will be like crumbs.
Pour the crumbs into the prepared pan and smooth.
Don't pat the crumbs too tightly.
Bake on the middle rack of a preheated 350Β° oven for 15 to 20 minutes, until the edges are just beginning to brown.
