Lemon Bread
Lemon Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 tbsp. margarine, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 c. sugar, grated rind of 1 lemon and 2 eggs, unbeaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream the margarine. Add salt. Add sugar gradually. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add grated lemon rind. Sift flour.
Measure and sift together with baking powder. Add alternately to creamed mixture with 1/2 cup milk. Add chopped walnuts. Turn into well-greased bread pan and bake at 350Β° for 55 minutes. Take from oven.
Place pan on rack and spoon the Lemon Topping over hot loaf.
