Cream sugar and butter.
Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each.
Add lemon extract and flour, one cup at a time.
Add soda, nuts and raisins.
Bake at 250Β° for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Makes 2 loaf pans, greased and floured.
