Lemon Bread
Lemon Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. flour, sifted, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 c. sugar and 3/4 stick butter or margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Combine all the ingredients except for the lemon juice and the additional 1/2 cup sugar and pour into ungreased loaf pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 45 to 50 minutes.
Then, mix 2 to 3 tablespoons of lemon juice with 1/2 cup sugar and pour over the finished baked cake.
Put back into the oven for 8 minutes more.
