Layer Surprise Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stick butter, melted, 1 c. flour, 1/2 c. nuts, chopped, 1 small pkg. cream cheese and 1 c. powdered sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix butter, flour and nuts and press in pie pan or 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 15 minutes.
Mix cream cheese, sugar and Cool Whip.
Put on top of cooled crust.
Mix pudding and milk together.
Place on top of cream cheese mixture.
Top with rest of Cool Whip.
