Layer Salad
Layer Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 medium head lettuce, broken in pieces, 1/2 c. chopped celery, 1/2 c. chopped green pepper, 1 medium onion, sliced thin and 1 pkg. uncooked frozen green peas, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Layer the first 5 ingredients in the order listed.
Spread the mayonnaise over top of layered ingredients.
Sprinkle the sugar over mayonnaise.
Top with grated Cheddar cheese and bacon bits. Refrigerate for 24 hours before serving.
