Lasagna(Lite Cooking)
Lasagna(Lite Cooking) is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. chopped onions, 3 cloves garlic, minced, 2 tbsp. crisco oil, 1 lb. extra lean ground beef and 2 (14 1/2 oz. each) cans stewed tomatoes (no salt), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Cook and stir onions and garlic in Crisco until tender.
Add ground beef and drain if necessary.
Add tomatoes and tomato paste, basil, oregano, sugar and pepper.
Stir until well blended. Simmer 30 minutes.
Combine cottage cheese, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese and parsley; set aside.
Cook noodles 7 minutes in unsalted boiling water.
Drain.
Heat oven to 350Β°.
Layer all ingredients in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Top with sauce and Mozzarella cheese. Bake 45 minutes.
