Lasagna
Lasagna is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. ground beef, 3/4 c. finely chopped onion, 1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce, 1 c. water and 2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Cook ground beef and onion in 3-quart saucepan over medium heat for 10 minutes; drain.
Add sauce, water and salt; blend well.
Simmer for 15 minutes.
Cook lasagna according to package directions; drain well.
Combine cottage cheese and egg.
Spread 3/4 cup meat sauce on bottom of greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch pan.
Arrange a layer of lasagna over sauce.
Top with layers of cottage cheese, Mozzarella cheese and meat sauce. Repeat layers twice, ending with a layer of lasagna.
Spread meat sauce over top and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Cover and bake at 350Β° for 35 to 40 minutes.
Makes 8 to 12 servings.
