Lasagna
Lasagna is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 pkg. lasagna noodles, 1 1/2 to 2 lb. mozzarella cheese (whole), 1 large can tomato puree (1 lb. 15 oz.), 3 (6 oz.) cans hunt's tomato paste and 3 lb. ground beef, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Two days before using, make sauce
Brown onions in bottom of a large Dutch oven.
Add meat and brown.
Stir occasionally to break it up well.
Add salt, pepper, lots of oregano, garlic powder, 3 cans of tomato paste and can of puree.
Add 1 teaspoon of sugar.
Cover.
Simmer 2 to 3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes or so and taste to season.
When done, put in a large airtight container.
Store in refrigerator at least 24 hours before using.
