Made with 1 1/2 lb. hamburger, 1 clove garlic, minced or 1/8 tsp. garlic powder, 1 tbsp. parsley flakes, 1 tbsp. basil and 1 large can whole peeled tomatoes, chopped in food processor, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Brown meat and add garlic, parsley flakes and basil.

Blend tomatoes and tomato paste in food processor or blender.

Add to meat mixture and simmer 1 hour.

Mix cottage cheese, eggs, salt, pepper, Parmesan cheese and parsley.

Cook noodles until tender. Layer in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

First layer noodles, then cottage cheese mixture, then Mozzarella cheese and then meat.

Repeat. Bake at 375Β° for 30 minutes.
