Lamb Chop Casserole
Lamb Chop Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 lamb chops, 2 oz. long grain rice, 1 packet or 1 tin tomato soup, 1 medium onion and 2 oz. fresh white breadcrumbs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Prepare soup if using a packet.
Wash rice and put in bottom of a large casserole dish.
Brown chops, if desired, in frying pan and put on top of rice.
Cover with chopped onion.
Pour tomato soup over and sprinkle with thyme.
Cover and bake for 1 hour at 350Β° (gas on 6).
Remove lid, top with breadcrumbs and grated cheese; bake for a further 30 minutes until top is golden brown and bubbly.
Serve with salad or green vegetables.
