Kringla
Kringla is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. water, 2 pkg. yeast, 2 c. flour, 6 c. flour and 1 c. shortening (mix as pie crust), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Mix water, yeast and 2 cups flour and let raise about 1/2 hour.
Place in bowl and mix 6 cups flour, shortening, salt, sugar and cream.
Add yeast mixture and knead well.
Let raise 1/2 hour. Roll in 1/2-inch diameter strings and shape into figure eights. Glaze top with beaten egg and bake at 400Β° until golden brown.
