King Tut's Pudding
King Tut'S Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 24 oreos, crushed, 1 lb. pitted dates, cut up, 1 1/2 c. water, 1/2 tsp. salt and 4 c. miniature marshmallows, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Spread cookie crumbs in a 9 x 12-inch baking dish.
In a saucepan, combine dates, water and salt; bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 3 minutes.
Remove from heat; add marshmallows and stir until melted.
Cool at room temperature. Stir in nuts.
Spread mixture over crumbs.
Combine vanilla and cream; whip stiff.
Spread over dates.
Chill overnight.
Cut in squares to serve.
