Kentucky Biscuits
Kentucky Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. all-purpose flour, 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. baking soda, 1 tbsp. granulated sugar and 1/2 c. margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and sugar in a mixing bowl.
Cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add buttermilk.
Mix quickly to make a soft dough.
Turn onto lightly floured surface; knead a few times to make a soft dough. Roll out to a 6 x 6-inch square.
Place on ungreased baking sheet. With knife, cut dough into 12 even portions.
Do not separate. Bake at 400Β° until golden.
Brush with butter.
