Kente Cloth Cake
Kente Cloth Cake is an easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. white cake mix (2 layer size), 1 small pkg. jell-o gelatin (your favorite flavor), 1 1/2 c. boiling water and 1 (4 oz.) tub cool whip, thawed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Prepare cake according to directions on package and bake in a 13 x 9-inch cake pan.
Cool cake 15 minutes in pan.
Remove from pan and let cool completely on a rack.
Wash and dry cake pan. Return cake back to pan, placing top up.
Pierce cake with a large fork at 1/2-inch intervals.
