Ken'S Quahaugs Casino is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 doz. small to medium quahaugs, 1 small onion, chopped, 1 stick butter, 1 c. flavored bread crumbs and 2 tbsp. lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Open quahaug and split in half.
Loosen completely from shell, cutting through muscle.
Saute onion in butter until yellow. Remove from heat; add the other ingredients and mix well.
Cool slightly, firmly pat about a tablespoon on top of each quahaug half (in shell).
Sprinkle red pepper and parsley on top.
One with 1/4 slice of raw bacon. Place large shallow in 350Β° oven for 30 minutes.
