Kay's Ginger Rice
Kay'S Ginger Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 tbsp. oil, 2 to 3 tbsp. chopped onion, 2 c. uncle ben's rice (uncooked), 3 1/2 c. cold water and 3 beef bouillon cubes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

To the pot, add oil and chopped onion.
Brown onion, then add rice, cold water, bouillon cubes and bay leaf.
Cover pot and cook on low for 30 minutes without lifting the pot top.
Before serving, add toasted almonds across top and sprinkle with ginger.
