Kale Soup
Kale Soup is an moderately easy soup you can prepare in just 54 minutes. Made with big bunch fresh kale, cleaned well, butter or margarine, large pkg. linguica, cut in small slices, or 5 medium potatoes, peeled and cut in chunks and kidney (red) beans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Melt butter or margarine in large pot.
Add linguica and fry up, then add half pot of water.
Add potatoes; cook on high heat until boiling, then add beans, cabbage, kale, salt and pepper.
Add some ketchup for color.
Cook on medium heat until potatoes and soup are done, about 20 minutes, then turn to low and simmer.
