Prepare

9-inch shell.

Turn chocolate into small saucepan.

Kahlua and place over low heat until chocolate melts, stirring smooth.

Lightly.

Stir in brown sugar, salt, vanilla, corn syrup and chocolate mixture. Then stir in butter and 1 cup of pecans.

Turn into pie shell and sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup pecans on top.

Bake slightly below center of moderate 350Β° oven until barely set in center and pastry is light golden brown, 45 to 50 minutes.

Remove and cool.

Cut into small wedges and serve with Kahlua Cream. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
