June's Alabama Biscuits
June'S Alabama Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. warmed buttermilk, 1 pkg. dry yeast, 2 1/2 c. unbleached flour, 4 tbsp. sugar and 3/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix buttermilk and yeast.
Mix dry ingredients.
Add oil to buttermilk mixture.
Add wet to dry ingredients mix; turn on floured surface and knead a few times.
Roll to about 1/2 inch thickness.
Cut with small round cutter.
Grease pan with oil. Turn biscuit in oil when placing in pan.
Let rise in slightly warm oven.
Preheat on warm for 5 minutes and turn off.
Bake at 425Β° in preheated oven about 10 minutes.
