Jumbo Raisin Cookies
Jumbo Raisin Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 to 2 c. raisins, boil and cool, don't drain, 1 c. crisco, 2 c. white sugar, 3 eggs and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream Crisco, sugar and eggs well.
Add vanilla and cooled raisin mixture.
Set aside.
Sift together flour, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice.
Add to raisin mixture and blend well.
Add 1 cup chopped nuts.
Drop on cookie sheet and bake 10 to 12 minutes in 350Β° oven.
Makes 6 dozen.
