Jumbo Raisin Cookies
Jumbo Raisin Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. raisins, 1 c. liquid from raisins, 4 c. flour, 1 tsp. baking soda and 1 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Combine raisins and water in saucepan.
Heat to boiling and cook 3 minutes.
Cool to room temperature.
Do not drain.
Combine flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
Stir in raisins and liquid.
Add flour mixture gradually.
Stir in nuts. Drop by tablespoonfuls about 1 inch apart onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350Β°, 12 to 15 minutes.
