Jumbo Raisin Cookies
Jumbo Raisin Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. water, 2 c. raisins, 1 c. shortening, 2 c. sugar and 3 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Add water to raisins.
Boil for 5 minutes.
Cream shortening with sugar.
Add eggs and beat well.
Add vanilla and cooled raisin mixture.
Add nuts.
Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice.
Add to raisin mixture and blend.
Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400Β° for 12 to 15 minutes.
Makes 60.
