Jumbo Raisin Cookies
Jumbo Raisin Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 4 c. all-purpose flour, 1 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. soda, 2 tsp. salt and 1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Sift dry ingredients. Add water to raisins and boil 5 minutes or until liquid has decreased to 1/2 cup. Cool. Cream shortening; add sugar and blend well.
Add eggs, one at a time, to creamed mixture, beating well after each addition.
Add vanilla, nuts and cooled raisin mixture.
Add sifted dry ingredients and blend well. Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 400Β° for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.
